Sorry, but I really hope it doesn't. Otherwise the PC version will suffer. And I don't mind that happening to a few of my favorite franchises, but this is Starcraft people, STARCRAFT!TheCrazed420
First of all, they can port the game to 360 from the PC version after it's done and tune it to the 360 specs. So the PC version doesn't suffer from it. EA did it the same way for CnC3.
Second of all, Starcraft is the most overappreaciated RTS ever made. That's my opinion. I just played it the other day, and the game isn't that balanced at all. For freaks who play it 24/7, sure. For regular people like you and me, no it isn't.Â

You honestly think CnC3 didn't get oversimplified and didn't suffer because of it? The PC version is extremely shallow as well, and that's a direct result of it being developed with the 360 in mind at the very start. On the other hand, a game like SupCom is clearly a PC-only title. And as a result, it's a very deep title.
no, its pc exclusive, i hope. imagine if they put WoW on 360. that would not be so great, as there are sooooo many macros somepeople have 2 screens, one just for macros. if you had it on console you would not be able to do that much that easily.
it's really annoying to play "RTS" games without a mouse to click and drag and be able to move at varying speeds.
Seeing as how Starcraft Ghost was Blizzards failed attempt at consoles, I am very certain Starcraft 2 will be PC only. For awhile... I mean Starcraft came out on the N64 lol....phobos8u
yea u do know that starcraft ghost never came out. so how did they fail at consoles?
I'd rather see Civilization IV make it, to be honest... or a remade Alpha Centauri.Generic_Dude

I would love to see that happen.

I completely agree though. Its all about the PC on this one. This will be the first PC game I will buy in years.

No, it's not. CnC3 was announced back in 2005 and was PC only. They decided way in development to also make it for Xbox 360. The PC version was created and after that it was ported to 360 and tuned to it specs. Things as unit cap were added for the 360 version. The sole purpose of CnC3 was to go back to the roots of the first game. And that is exactly what CnC3 does. It didn't get any bit toned down. Really, what was done wrong in CnC3? The game follows it's pupose perfectly.

That depends on the game though. A game like Starcraft would need allot of fast micromanagement since you can only control 8 units at a time. But a game like CnC3 can be played very well with a controller. Yes, it's more comfortable and faster playable with a mouse, but the controls nail it as good as they can be and it only differs a second maybe to undertake an action.Â

The controls for CnC3 on the console were done well. And they didn't slim CnC3 down for the console, CnC have never been really deep RTS games. As Supreme Commander on the other hand would be near impossible to play on a 360. In large battles I have both monitors running with my main monitor also split down the middle and the mini map watching scouts. That game is total brain meltdown even with the massive arsenal of buttons. I think you would get brain cancer just attempting to play it with a controller.
