Still a good time to get MW2?

I might sound stupid but I'm just wondering if it's still a good time to get mw2 for the Xbox 360. Does anybody play it anymore because it have Black ops and I don't like it that much and I've played mw2 at my friends and liked it more so yea. :P

It's still the second most played game on XBL, behind Black Ops, so yeah go for it.

I like Search and Destroy better on MW2 than Black Ops, that's why I play it

My bud discouraged me from buying it because there are too many hackers (modders or whatever) so idk. I loved that game on PS3 though. I really want to try it on XBOX too.

its still easy to find a game on CoD 4 too :P

It's never a good time to get MW2, IMO. MW2 was so bad, it actually made me not want to play another FPS ever again. MW2 is one of the worst games I've ever played. I'll never buy another Call of Duty.x-2tha-z

The campaign was the main draw of MW2 for me. I think Black Ops is an all-round better game, even though I know I'm probably alone in thinking that.

Not alone, IMO Black Ops is loads better than Modder Warfail 2 (yes, the misspelling is on purpose).

MW2 didn't lose that many players to Black Ops. Most people I know play both.

Didn't microsoft shut down the servers supporting the old Xbox? I'd be surprised if you could get online support for old games on the 360.

i dont know how anyone can say black ops has better online play than MW2, few reasons

black ops -

epic fail hit detection.

crazy amount of bullets per kill, some times 3 rounds, sometimes 15.

the weapons took a major step back along with the maps

also majorly bad spawns, especially on nuketown

sorround sound doesn't work with black ops like the rest of the cod series

the graphics arent as good as modern warfare 2

i think i could keep going...

At least Treyarch is fixing every problem that comes up instead of what IW did.

Regardless of the community, it is never to late to buy a game haha.

I don't see why not, it's the second or third most played game on Xbox Live. Also it's a good game, but it does have it's fare share of problems.

I STILL prefer cod 4 over mw2 and black ops...thats just me. Love the simplicity of COD 4TrapMuzik92
