I wanted to buy it till I played the demo... it's a bit more mindless than I had hoped. Not that it's bad.... It just has 'rent me' all over it. Not a keeper in my mind. Fun, but not worth dropping $60 to me. Now Bioshock... that's a buy in my opinion.
This game blew hardcore, it's a mindless run and gun slow-mo shooter. The animations when you slide on things looks terrible, the AI needs help, and when you kill an enemy another walks through the door wtf?

i've seen alot of people complaining about the ai, but as far as i understand its supposed to be like that. the game is directed by a real action master and how often are the bad guys in action movies smart? you are supposed to be able to kill your foe's in cool ways and you can't have the bad guys running around thinking and avoiding you when you want to do that.
I liked the demo, but if you asked me how well it stood up against Max Payne I would have to say that it does not stand anywhere near it.smokeydabear076
Lol, Hell ya it made my top demos list.. and the funniest thing to do in it is to use presision aim and nail a guy right in the balls!! LOL he sits there for a half a minute yelling hahahahahahaha!! Awesome!
i didn't like it at all. its trying to hard to be better then max payne. and max payne 1 is way better then this. the whole auto table sliding thing is cool but gets very annoying. The A.I is pretty dumb, like said above its basically a shooting hall. you kill a guy another one pops up. starts to get repetitive, fast. the destroyable envirnment is done well. IMO the game is filled with WTF situations, like the diel thing, WTF is that all about. so IMO, the game lacks, they could of done a better job. and playing this game i really want max payne 3 now.
Without John Woo there would be no Max Payne crap. He started the whole slow mo thing. And Max payne is horrible compared to what I have seen in this demo. I will buy this game when it gets a price drop or from Ebay. Top 3 demos available. Peace.

I thought that it was pretty good. The gameplay is incredibly fun, easy, and addictive. Im going to wait to see some reviews, but Im prolly going to pick this game up.
Is there any news on how long the game may take to complete? It is a solid rental IMO but the multiplayer looks impressive.GTANJ
this game is short i tested it in midway chicago i was there 8 hours and i finished the whole game. if u have any question about anything just ask. its a good game i had lots of fun with it but thats the only thing that sucks is that when u get to be good at it the game is over.
finally, a fresh take on a shooter A hybrid shooter yes, but a fresh approach I really liked the rail shooting elements and the use of the bullet time However, i think the visuals of the character models could look better, they look plasticy, kinda thing we'd see in doom 3 and Perfect dark zero If they put more polish into the game they could cover up the plastic looking visuals, just like EA did with Fight Night Round 3

yeah seriously. the graphics and destructible environments are awesome. the conrols are really fluid and intuitive. i love woo movie's too! :)  definite buy for me.

me too. for the most part i didn't have much interest in the game, but after the demo.. i am SOLD!
