Im trying to decide whether or not i should get the new street fighter. Im afraid that i will get tired of it withen a few days... does it get old quick, what are the modes? any extra content?? help! thanx :)
The single player mode is good to unlock characters, icons, and titles. That would get old after a while, but the online play is where it is at. It is a popular game and I hope online play will flourish for a long time.
The controls are not TOO bad, but the standard XBOX controller does not shine with all the moves. The D-pad or analog stick gives me trouble from time to time.
Overall, SF4 is lightyears beyond MK vs. DCU. That game needs to be burned in Hell Fire.

yeah, MK vs DCU was terrible, I played that game for about 3 hours before I banished it forever. Street Fighter 4 is the best fighting game out there and endlessly addictive.
There are plenty of modes to keep you going. My personal favorite is the Trial challenge modes. There ar eosme wicked combos to be mastered in there. :)
i would say rent first... i bought this game first day cause i loved the old street fighters and it was quite entertaining.... good graphics and some entertaining moves
visually nice with alot of old street fighter throwbacks...but do not plan on being any good at the game online or on any acrade mode harder and medium. This game was meant for a joy stick or a console with a decent decent Dpad. Combos are too complex and difficult to connect consistenly. If you go out and buy the expensive a** fight pad for the game you have the joystick and you can rape souls but besides that, prepare to get powned
Dude its really not that great. I have the original SF2 and all the moves are the same, and they added a few. The best thing about it is it has all te characters ever, but I got bored with it after 2 days. I guess it depends on how much you love the sf games. I've always been a MK kid myself, so I didn't like it too much. Rent it first.
