stupid xbox live child account

there appears to be no way to use the messenger unless you're over the ESRB age limit. which is pretty lame. only way to use it would be to make a new silver account with a fake DOB.

how do you chance the to regular acccount.my account is a "child account" and it is killing me that i cant use messenger. it got to some way to revers it. plzz... help me im struggling over hereFarFarkim

omg all this restrictions with the child shiit i should hade a ps3 istead:cry:... BUT now im here so i will have to live with it.isn't there a way to change you current windows messenger live to a adult account.FarFarkim

I don't know i had a child account that was set at the age of 1993 and i upgraded it to adult with my moms visa (With her permission of course because I'm only 15)

Though the account was set under my email address which could have been 1990 or so, so i really don't know. My suggestion to you is upgrade your account and if you don't see that option then wait until your older or make a new account.

well well thanks for all the help. and for ukillwegrill im very happy that i bought the 360 its a great console even tough the child thingy is pretty stupid.
