So last night, I was playing Fable II. Having a freakin blast. Then the screen froze, then RRoD. Crap! It's a sweet Elite that I bought in August 2007.

Well, I phone the xbox number and they go through the troubleshooting with me and everything still leads to RRoD. They give me the instructions to send it in for repair...yadda yadda yadda. Then, this morning as I plugged it back in to double check a disk wasn't in the tray, the 360 runs perfectly. And It's been running fine all day.

So, do I still send it in? Or would I be better off phoning in and saying forget it?

If I do send it in, I'm gonna buy an arcade 360 and just attach my HDD to it to keep on playing.

This is my first RRoD, and I really am unsure if it was a freak thing or it means my 360 is dying. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes send it in, I made the bad choice of not sending it in a month ago because I could take the disc out and it would work fine, now I won't have my xbox till after winter break.
