Surprised by Just Cause 2 Reviews

Anyone else surprised by the great reception Just Cause 2 is getting? I mean the first one was pretty weak, so I don't think people were expecting much. But 8.0 from gamespot and 8.8 from IGN is a nice surprise. I had a ton of fun with the demo but the game definitelyshowed itsflaws. Normally these are the little flaws that cause game reviewers to really drag down the score. But I think in the end, the game just completely made up for it in terms of fun factor.

i think it can be said that all games have their flaws, but the 2 video reviews i've seen so far, the game looks pretty good, i love the openness of the game and the fact that you can destroy pretty much everything. i also love the fact that it's all over the top and that they are proud of it haha.

I must admit... I'm a bit surprised. I didn't think the first one all that crash hot, so I wasn't expecting much from the second installment.
But, I guess it could be worth a look. Maybe.

The game is really honest about what it is supposed to be. A sandbox and a set of tools used to blow up that sandbox in interesting and entertaining ways. And my god is it entertaining. It deserves the scores its getting.

Nope...I REALLY enjoyed the demo and I will buy it eventually. It's not the greatest game ever BUT it is solid...IMO of course!! lol

i was suprised too. i thou it would get 7.5 tops. i played the demo. and it was kinda fun. maybe ill get it after a price cut.

I'll admit myself, the demo was a lot of fun, but the voice acting was laughable. Otherwise, I'm seriously considering getting this game. The reviews are helping push me in that direction as well.

i recommend watch the game trailers review i think the story is just fine and actually have some deep cos show how war are cause this days , the only character with rare voice is the one in the demo nothing special about the story but nothing annoying or long.

i have played the first just cause on the ps2 and i was overwhelmed by the enormity of the island where you are suppost to start a revolution. in that game his legs moved like stilts, it looked stupid. that is why i did not wind up completing the game.

i will not be playing just cause 2.

I picked this game up yesterday and I seriously have a hard time putting it down. I was up until like 2:30 this morning playing it and I have like 10 hours into the game and I only have done the first 3 agency missions.
