Suspended for my bio?

I've seen a lot of people complain about being suspended on these boards, but this is the first one I see that makes absolutely no sence whatsoever to me.

Yeah, I see no possible problem someone could have with this... Did Microsoft give any explanation at all? Or did they just say they don't like the profile and that's it? Perhaps you could ask for a better explanation?

Being a skinhead may not automatically mean you're racist, but just the fact that so many people associate skinheads with racism is reason enough to separate yourself from that culture, especially if you're not racist.GAMESHARQ

^^^ what he said, the reality is that whether or not u subscribe to racist ideology commonly associated with skinheads, the term skinhead alone falls into offensive words category. people can put gangster in their bio, but cant put the N*gga, Nazi, F*g (please dont mod me im trying to make a point here). Whether you act on it or not, the term alone is enough to warrant offending someone, as a Latino the first thing that came to mind when i read what was in your bio oh this dumb ignorant idiot. Now im no one to judge you for the way you live but my initial reaction came from a place of annoyance for you even before hearing you out and listening to your reasoning. If it happens to me im sure many other people will feel the same way and not care what reasoning you have. One thing though is if your happy living that way and embracing that aspect in your life, so long as you dont hurt anyone enjoy it man.

The term skinhead is some bad slang which microsoft forbids, thats why they suspended you, just incase next time, dont put anything that you might think that'll get you into a bad place.

Honestly, I never even heard the term "skinhead" before today. That's why I was so baffled, lol. I just thought it was another way of saying bald.

Well i came back today to find i have been suspended from xbox live for my bio which was and will be when i get back for it is not offensive in any way and its not being changed: Motto ][\/][ ][ ][\][ '][' Bio Skinhead Till I Die Name josh Location warrington Nothing is wrong with this, yes i am a skinhead but as a person it is my right to choice what i call myself, there is nothing in the Terms and Conditions which say anything about this so why was a told to refer to them? For months Xbox live took money from mine and my mothers account without our permission, they are nothing but thieves who give you no chance to counter their decision. let me correct this, if you call xbox live support, we send you to check your email and tell you to dispute it on the xbox forums. There's nothing we can do to un-suspend your account

Common use of the term is racist. You simply can't argue against that. I don't care what you mean by it. You know the social meaning of the word, and I know you're not that dumb or naive so don't try to hide behind the technicality. Next time, use some common sense.
