My original XBOX 360 "died" in December. It had a 20gb HD. Bought a new 360 which had a 60gb HD. 20gb hard drive still works and has all my saves games and gamer tag profile info for XB Live. 60gb is empty, is there anyway of transferring data from 20gb to 60gb. I have heard you need a memory card or something? Any advice would be great. Seems ludicrous to have the 60gb drive going unused.

Use a transfer cable. You need to fill out a form and turn it in to MSfor a free one or you can buy one on eBay. This will allow you to swap drives.

I could be wrong but I thought that those only work when transferring to a 120gb drive.

You have to transfer to a same size HDD or larger. You just can't go down in size.

Instead of worrying about filling a form out, I just called MS and they took care of it for me, got the transfer kit in maybe 2-3 days from calling them? Makes things easier than the mail/processing/etc...
