Cool, good idea to switch to DirecTV, although their channel lineup isn't as extensive as the cable company's but their website lets you swap your premium channels and core packages anytime you want without having to call in or charging a fee. Just be warned that they have been having some price hikes as of late. Anyways, FIOS seems to be just as reliable if not better as any other cable company's intenet such as Roadrunner which does 15mb up and 1mb down (FIOS does up to 30mb and 5mb up which is insanely good). Also, Comcast is currently being investigated by the FCC for screwing with their customers connections on purpose to save on bandwidth..anythings better than Comcast at the moment.
