System link in games that you download from XBL?

So I am not that experienceed in using system link and was wondering if I was to download Halo wars could I play it system link by just redownloading the game to a different 360 and having the game on both hardrives? Like normally you need a disc for system link but what about games that are downloaded?

Pretty sure that any downloads are tied to your specific gamertag. So in order for it to work on another xbox you have to be connected to live and signed in to your gamertag. So I don't think what you described would work, both people wanting to play system link would need to purchase the game.
