[QUOTE="kozzy1234"][QUOTE="nocoolnamejim"]Hmm. I've been eyeballing this one fairly closely since it came out. Good feedback about the story, characters, and combat. I do have a question though. LO and The Witcher aren't particularly similar games. In fact, they are drastically different from one another in terms of how they play. Is Tales more a traditional RPG type game in line with what LO would be like or does it actually have choices and consequences like The Witcher had?nocoolnamejim
The reason i mentioned LO and The Witcher is because those are the two best rpgs in the last 3 years imo.
Tales is more like LO then The Witcher (from what ive played so far), mainly just because one is a western rpg and one is a jrpg. If you enjoy both western and jrpgs then you should enjoy this new TALES alot imo. I really enjoyed the story in LO and The Witcher also, so thats another reason why i mentioned them. Id say if your a fan of either of those two rpgs (or a fan of both like me), then i reccomend gettign tales:)
So far the story is pretty interesting in tales for me and the characters and combat are better then in the demo.
Hope that helps.
Thanks. That does help. I like the more top-notch JRPG titles. For example, I'll always pick up the next Final Fantasy or Suikoden game, but I'm a little lukewarm on games that are heavily anime of which I'm not a big fan. I'll read a couple more reviews and then make my decision.I totally understand man, and imo this is a top notch jrpg. Im not a fan of anime really, but can tolerate it. Tales Of Vesperia seems more like ART then anime, at least to me.
