team fortress 2 story mode ?

hi im thinking of getting the orange box as it has 5 games in 1 but i would like to know if there is a story in team fortress 2 since the game is reletivly old i think not a lot of people would play it online

TF2 is MP only.

There's essentially no story in Team Fortress. A bunch of lunatics fight over secret bases out in the desert. That's the story. Lots of people still play it on 360, enough that you can always find a game.
