team fortress 2 why are some classes blocked out ????

i know theres probably going to be some dead obvious reason but when i host my own game i can olny choose between the scout and the engineer why cant i choose any other classes ????

Go to Options in the menu and scroll down to the c|ass limits.

The last update added class restrictions so you want to turn those off like the above post tells you to do. I never stay in a game if classes are restricted, becaseu what's the point of a class based shooter if the classes are restricted.

Good point but I hate when I can't be my favorite class, the Pyro. I only really like to play as a Pyro. I'm sure you have a favorite class, don't you hate it when you can't use it. I've also played games where the teams are restricted to 7 Demos and one medic and it sucked, and this was done with the stupid restrictions.

yeah i cant stand it when my favorite (The Spy) is restricted but that's not the only one i play with so i dont worry about it.but when its restricted down to 1 or 2 Clases i just leave...It kinda takes the fun out the game

Play with friends or host a game yourself. That's what I try to do all of the time as most people restrict everyone to weaker classes and just choose the best for themself.

I once tried to host a game of TF2 on my connection and it only let me host 8 players, after the match I received a tonne of hateful messages because of the lag. I can host 16 player COD matches and everyone has 4 green bars, so I'm just wondering does TF2 require a better connection then what I have (50 down, 1.5up)?? I used to really like the 360 version.
