Is a 19 inch HD television more suitable for an Xbox 360than a standard 17 inch in terms of the difference of quality of graphics, wording, etc. between the two? Thank You

For me, HD made a great difference, everything gets sharper, especially the colors and details in textures etc. as you see it.

So I'd say go for it, if you can afford it ;).

How crisp is wording on your systems? For example, my current television(20 inch, I believe) heavily destorts the codex pages in Mass Effect 2 and just about anything with words.

The H.D picture is definitely an improvement over a standard T.V .. But just like every other product, the more you invest, the better quallityproduct..

I purchased a decent large screen Samsung plasma H.D T.V some time last year, but got tired of having to scroll the picture to remove 'burn in' after gaming , so swapped it for a more expensive Samsung L.C.D T.V (which was definitely an improvement)..

Just make sure your new T.V is 100herts or more.. The better the T.V, the more picture options (motion plus ect) it will have..

I expect a technically minded gamer in the 'Audio forum' would be able to advise you better.

The text clarity is probably one of the first things you'll notice, and progressive scan is a lot better.

You would even notice a difference in between a flat-screen standard TV and a non-flat standard TV. We used to have an old 27" non-flat hooked up to my wife's 360 and it actually hurt my eyes to watch her play. We visited her uncle for xmas and he had his hooked up to a flat screen standard 19" and it looked great.

I play on an HD 42" LCD, so I don't have to worry about anything, lol.
