Terminator Salvation or Fear 2?

Saw a sale on at JB Hifi for either FEAR 2 or Terminator Salvation at $39 new. That seems like a good deal. Just wondering on any recommendations as to which to buy. Bit strapped for cash at the moment so I can only get 1x at the moment.

if you have gold you can download the fear 2 demo. i'd go with fear 2. killing the same enemies in terminator was so repetative and the AI was flat out awefull.

Unfortunately I'm only on Silver. I'm ashamed to say, but I'm a very casual player that just like to sit on the couch and play maybe up to 1-1.5x hours a night after work. I couldn't justify to myself to fork out dollars to MS for doing online. I'd rather spend that $75-$100 a year with a great new SP game.
Each to their own opinion though, I'm not knocking Gold, that's just the way I prefer.
I was hoping for a SP game with great story, atmosphere and good gameplay mechanics. Or am I asking too much?

I remember playing FEAR1 on PC, and the AI was terrific. Does this still stay true for FEAR2?

Maybe preowned Prince Of Persia. They had that there for the same price.

FEAR 2, it's no contest, you'll beat Terminator Salvation the day you brought it.

Of those 2 Fear 2 is far superior, but you should try to find another game than those, neither were that great.

Honestly, you should just pick up the Orange Box instead;)

fear 2 is much, much better; you shoud get it.

Easily FEAR 2, took less than 3 hrs for me to finish Terminator.
