Thank you epic for ruining the "flow" of gears of war

If you have played gears of war recently, you might have noticed a plethera of new achievements as well as the absence of many popular glitches. Thats all well and good however, to change the dynamics of the weapons (lancer) just ruins the experience. Now that the lancer is more powerful, it messes with the way the matchs flow especially if you happen to be facinga "super" host. Anybody else Agree? I think the adding of more weapons would have been more suitable, not powering up the ones already there.

Am I the only one who feels that the lancer is still the same as before. If you get caught in it's fire it would take you down. This was before the update. I remember many times before when playing canals the lancers would be very effective weapons.MuffinPunk

no, the only way to really down them would be to try tocircle strafe or if they are roadie running straight at you

Considering I used the Lancer more than anything else when I played I'm thinking about trying it out again!

you can down someone and then have enough bullets left to finish them off without having to reload.

Just curious, but what are all your ranks in terms of the respective game tyes you play for gears?

People should use the the lancer more often, its the iconic weapon for the game and people ignore it in favour of one hit killers like sniper and shotty. The game should be about a war of attrition, taking cover and wearing down the enemy instead of one hit kills.

There should be an option to have lancer/hammerburst matches only

This whole cover thing makes the game boring in my opinion. I think it ruins the game to just sit behind a car and lancer eachother the entire game. All of you have to admit it is more satisfying to roadie run around the guy camping with his lancer behind a car or whatnot and blow the crap out of him with your shotgun.

It feels exactly the same to me, and I still think its horribly repetitive online.

Whats all this I hear about them changing the Boom...I don't know because my Box is being repaired.kdt55

they added splash damage to it...so if the enemy has it ...ur basically dead...its like the first weapon people go for when they start the match...cause if u get it u basically win..

i think its a good idear the lancer realisctly should be a very powerful gun.

is it only mp or is it in mp as well?

Yea, you can now down someone with half a clip. Before you'd be lucky to down someone with a full clip of Active.
