That's suicide! That will deactivate the man's 360 by electrocuting the console.

Ya make sure it ice water too. But take the ice cubes out of the water before you pour the water into the holes cause they might mess up your 360.
when my 360 gets hot i just throw it in the pool... yep thats the trick.
or give it a nice little tap with a hammer
heat is what causes the red rings of death. (motherboard expands, bad fixings, = complete faliure
stop it by
1) keep it off the floor away from dust.
2) Dont play or leave it on for longer than 3 hours at a time.
3) if you have aircon, use it.
dont put it in the fridge or freezer as the temp change will break it.
1. Dont turn the system back on right after it freezes. Give it a few minunites. If its been on for a few hours give it 10 to 15 minunites.
2. The usb base fan is worth the $15. Dont run the fan while the 360 is on use it to dispell the heat after you power off your console. My 360 is verticle and I remove the Hard Drive and kick the fan on and let it cool for about 10 minunites. It is a known fact the majority of Red lights come from the heat softening the solder points on the GPU - Hence not turning it back on right after a freeze and letting it cool.
I have a launch system and its still running strong!!!!!!
1: turn your A/C down in the house....hell its a constent 60-65 degrees in my room, and i play my 360 for hours on end, and its never frozen or stutterd or anything, and it doesn't get HOT just a little warm.....or u can go out and buy a laptop cooler pad, and lay your 360 down on one of those
heres a good one

After getting a 360, I just realized that even the new zephyr models really, really heat up. Is that really normal, even for the zephyr? What can be done to further cool the console down?other107
Wait this is stupid, the answer is easy. Just blow on it to cool it down...like you do with tea.
1) Carefully unscrew the rear pannel on the 360.
2) Pour Mountain Dew Slurpee in (I've found that other Slurpee flavors don't work as well)
3) Reattach rear pannel.
Don't fret, it's a good thing your 360 heats up to that degree. Whenever my 360 gets really hot, I take off the case, crack an egg open and boil it. On cold nights, you can also use it as a mini heater.
Two deals for one. Boiled eggs, and a heater.

Yea, but that only works if you get in with it so you can make sure it get fully submerged. Oh yeah keep it plugged in too. Jkin
