The 360 the first console not to become a collectible?

Many of us still have original nes systems and super nintendo's that work fine, even dreamcasts last forever....trying to keep a 360 is a shot in the dark..it will most likely get the 3 red lights of death..then you have a big paper weight.....Iwouldnt take the chance on trying to keep one for a long time until microsoft comes out with e newer version that doesnt break in 8 months....

I have 15 consoles. I have my original Atari 2600 on up to the 360 and Wii. My launch 360 crashed within 8 months and im on my second 360 now with the warranty. I feel the 360 wont stand the test of time to be a collectible. MS has some good ideas and games, but they dont know how to make a system last

ps...And dont start with the PS2's not being reliable cause my launch PS2 is still kickin just fine.
