So gears of war is good, but is Vegas, Fear, or call of duty 2 a better single player shooter? I do not care about multiplayer. Please any advice would be much appreciated
i hate gears of war as a single player.... honestly i beat it in like 11 hours... i know thats weak to some ppl .... and really thats weak for me.... it was too short... to me a good game, well it depends on ur skill level, but for me im mad if i beat it in one day...
i have all and the order would go as follows: 1 Gears of war 2. Call of duty 2 - have to play it on veteran, frustratingly hard but fun 3. vegas 4. FEAR They are all great games i loved Fear but when i returned the used copy cause it was damaged and bought it 2 monthes later i didn't like it as much for some reason. actually for single player Call of duty 2 would be real close to Gears of war.

actually i said the same thing cause i too don't really like war games but this game was awesome, but frustrating, and only got it cause it was $20 brand new and loved it

What about GRAW? I think that GRAW is the best shooter game on the Xbox360, also I think that GRAW 2 will be even better then the first GRAW. So GRAW 2 will be the best shooter game on the Xbox360 after its release.
Gears isn't the greatest single player game. The campaign is too short and it can get frustrating at times. The campaign with co-op is one of the best shooter campaigns IMO. The pick up health system when you are downed makes it much more fun playing it co-op. Rainbow Six Vegas for single player is the one I recommend. The control you have over your teammates is much better than Gears and they aren't complete liabilities like they are in other games. The single player campaign in RSV is just awesome. In co-op Gears might be a bit better because of the revival system but that's about it.
I think Gears is the best even if it is short. RB6 and GRAW are great games too. Personnaly, I love when we can play in third person view. I know this doesn't change the story of a game, but it add depth...IMO Oh...and choose a game that you can sidle up to any wall...that is a great feature

Okay then get the first GRAW game which is only $29.99 and if you like it then save up your money and get GRAW 2.
