~The BIGS...any good???~

Hey all,

I am very seriously looking into buying The BIGS. My brother has played it and has said it is a lot of fun. I absolutely love baseball, and I need a little bit of a change from the 2K series. I have never played The BIGS. Only seen videos/images of it online. From what i can tell the game looks great!!!

But before I go and spend $60 on the game, which may be tonight, I wanted to know what you guys thought of the game.

So, what do you think of it??? Is it worth the $60 I will be paying???

i love the arcadey style baseball feel :D

Its fun in the beginning but after u play the rookie challenge for a while it gets dry. If u want a technical baseball game this aint it. Its more NBA Jam meets baseball. I hit a homer with Pedro Martinez. Nuff said.

But download the demo like a previous thread mentioned and make up yur own mind. Personally im missing MVP '05. (sigh)

From one STILLERS fan to another,The BIGS is the most enjoyable baseball game this year. I owned and have played all this years entries and would recommend this over the rest. As someone said they are missing MVP 05 I feel the same way. If you havent played MVP 05 I would recommend that over any of the new games.

I have played MVP 05 b4 but I personally like the 989 Sports series MLB games the best, but those are only for Playstations.

Btw, I ended up buying The BIGS last night. GREAT GAME!!!:D
