The Dead Space series

I was thinking of playing this series. I never got around to it before. Do I need to start with the first one or can I go to the 2nd one without missing much? or is the 1st one too good to miss?

Playing the first one isn't necessary, but it does add to the story and the first one is the better game. Both games are very good.

I haven't played the second but the first one was fantastic. I don't see why you would skip it though as it's rated higher and probably a considerable amount cheaper than the second.

And there are references to the first game in the second.

Both games are brilliant titles, well worth checking out.

I'm interested/dredding the 3rd one tho. I'm unsure if the Co-op thing is going to be a good thing for the title. Same with the MP mode which was tacked on Dead Space 2

I'd recommend playing the first game. It's the best of the two. Then play the second one.

No, go with the first one then second. I promise you that you will not be dissapointed. Such a great series.
