What is the best Character to make a full geared wizard out of? something with the most magic, I have beaten the game twice now and I wanted a mage but every time I make one it seems I use the wrong character and have low magic.

Use an Altmer. Just make sure you can get your hands on some gear with good magic defense.

yeah thats what i was told i wanted to get really good gear because i also was born under the apprentis sign so i also have 100% weakness to all magic. just to turn things up a knoch. haha but thanks for the input.

also for soul trapping when you get the black soul gem, (ive never used it) can enchant it much stronger than a grand soul gem?

The only difference is that black soul gems can trap the souls of people, while grand cannot

yeah i used the breton a while back ago and i think i maxed the magic out both intel. and willpower and it was like 280-310 and i used mage sign with it, i used apretentice with a highelf and got it to 345 at like level 15 or 17. oh ok yeah i just never used the black soul gem just kinda hung out in the wizard tower. lol
