Just in case no one knew or know but dont care. I care.

The elite i have looks different than what is advertised. mine is not shiny black, nor darkblack but black with gray in it.

Well if you are going to get mad at Microsoft for that then you might as well get mad at every restaurant everywhere for making food in the menu's look better than what you actually get. Maybe they waxed the cosole, try that.

He was expecting dark black or glossed black, not a greyish look that is of the elite.

I was pretty dissapointed too when i saw my cousin's elite, the fact that it really isnt black throws off the scheme.

Even the controllers look messed up, its light black with grey. no shine

My roommate has an elite and let me say thankgod its not the shiny black like the ps3. My ps3 has a ton of fingerprints on it and you can easily see all the fingerprints. You want that on your 360 elite.

Your gonna cry over the color of a system? ANd what do you mean you dont get what you see. Never once did anyone ever say the elite was a shiny black. The 360 wasnt a shiny white so why would it be a shiny black. Its like the same casing as the original 360 but black instead of white.tbolt_88

Didn't you ever look at the elite? It's more of a matte color not metallic like the PS3stormtrooper32

it's advertised as matte black. I prefer matte, shiny things get fingerprints all over them.
