Gameplay will always be thumb and controller but the graphics will most likely look like this...

Graphics will improve due to better technology. That's pretty much it...I don't think gamers will be wearing helmets and gloves or anything like in futuristic movies.

I dont know about that but it would be nice to see RPG's become much more popular. Especially good JRPG's.

I read the same thing in gaming magazines from 15 years ago talking about now. In reality no one wants to wear 3d glasses or any other peripheral while gaming. Plus, the graphics and television technology has increased so much just in the last 10 years.

what else can we really do???... soon we will be having natal with no controller. the only think i can see changing over time is more in depth with natal (well we dont even know how well natal can read are bodys yet). 3-d T.V's already being created by company's to be sold in homes in next few years. we are just coming to a point where we can only push the size of the game only if the studio want to

You will need a new t.v. and the next generation of console. That's the future of gaming...not too complicated.

i dont mind wearing glasses for 3D effects. I wear a headset when playing online. the technology is here now. My samsung HDTV is 3D ready. 3D movies are being developed for the home. Games will also follow suite.

People don't want to come home from work and have to wear 3D glasses just to watch movies or play games. That technology will completely bomb.

you might want to do more research before you make flawed claims. 3D technology for console and PC games are in development and do not require glasses. sounds like your too cool for wearing a headset while gaming.

Of course life like graphics but the real improvment will come i believe in AI, DLC, and over all scale. DLC in which it isn't a new map but exstentions of the in game worlds. Turning games from a x amount of time movie to a never ending tv series. As for the AI im thinking anything short of skynett...
