I've been gaming for about 20 years now and i can remember how games used to be and i've seen how they've come along, but what i've been wondering is what will games be like in the next 20 years???

Hopefully RPG's will be rapeing Shooters in 20 years.

I dont know about that but it would be nice to see RPG's become much more popular. Especially good JRPG's.
I read the same thing in gaming magazines from 15 years ago talking about now. In reality no one wants to wear 3d glasses or any other peripheral while gaming. Plus, the graphics and television technology has increased so much just in the last 10 years.3d will be a sure thing feature in games of the future.

i dont mind wearing glasses for 3D effects. I wear a headset when playing online. the technology is here now. My samsung HDTV is 3D ready. 3D movies are being developed for the home. Games will also follow suite.

People don't want to come home from work and have to wear 3D glasses just to watch movies or play games. That technology will completely bomb.[QUOTE="BLAS1AN"][QUOTE="KC_Hokie"]I read the same thing in gaming magazines from 15 years ago talking about now. That technology will completely bomb.you might want to do more research before you make flawed claims. 3D technology for console and PC games are in development and do not require glasses. sounds like your too cool for wearing a headset while gaming.
