Once again, Beautiful Katamari wins. It's like the new Ocarina of time multiplied by a dash of Chrono Trigger plus Valve. You know you're a truly true gamer if you play Beautiful Katamari.
haha first off you need a console, second play online, third owning more then 5+ games is a must, as for games go it doesnt matter what you play as long as you are playing.
recently; Halflife 2 & HL2 episode 1 & 2 epic, like playing a giant movie. Didn't really get into the whole background story i.e. combine taking over, freeman and blackmesa experiment, but it's a very immersive world and you can't help but to be sucked in for a great ride. Would say the same for L4D wicked experiance playing online late at night, very creepy! Story wise COD4 was blown away by it! some missions especially 'All Gillied Up' and what and ending! Dead Space was awesome watched all cut scenes loved the feel (check out the amine for backstory). When all said and done though the game which got most into my head has to be a toss up between F.e.a.r Great character in Alma and solid plot if environs a bit repetitive and RE4 which i played on my beloved Ps2 before I traded console to buy my 360 such a long game and such believable world and unquestionable gameplay graphics, difficulty, A.I. didn't play RE5 yet but it's on my list on to get.

I understand what the TC means I guess...I think games like Rainbow six Vegas 2 and GRAW 2 capture the minds of "REAL" gamers because they involve strategic elements you would use in real life, COD 4 is good for this as well.
