the GOTY is going to comedown to these 2 games

i think the game of the year based on sales and how good the game is and how pepole are respnding to it are modern warfare 2 and uncharted 2 i personaly think mw is going to win does anyone else think somthing else should get game of the year

I agree. I think it will come down to those two games. Personally, I voted for MW2 (for the VGA's) because I feel it has an amazing campaign, amazing multiplayer, and Spec Ops is also amazing and that's what puts it over the top for me. Uncharted 2 is phenomenal, but I just don't think it has the overall package of MW2. We shall see though.

My GOTY is Borderlands. But i think Uncharted 2 it's excellent too. So between those two i think Uncharted 2 wins.Hakud0ushi

wow, borderlands was in the final two? its a good game, dont get me wrong, but its not up THERE for me :P

mine is more between, forza, batman, dragons age and uncharted. Like you im gonna have to go with Uncharted 2. Awesome game :P

Halo ODST and Modern Warfare 2 are my top two because I used to HATE Halo, but ODST got me into it more now I play Halo 3 all the time and Modern Warfare 2 is just epic, no explanation needed lol.:P

I think it'll wind up being Uncharted 2. Uncharted had a much better single player in my opinion, and the online is really fun. I think MW2 was definitely the better online game, but not by enough to make up the difference in SP. Both are great though and I really think it will come down to those 2 plus Dragon Age.

I'm gonna have to say Modern Warfare 2, Borderlands and Dragon Age: Origins.

Halo: ODST was amazing but it won't make GOTY.

Uh, hello? BlazBlue? Anyone?

I know I'm WAY in the minority since it isn't hyped up for crap and I'm sure Street Fighter IV will beat it at fighting game of the year, again, because of hype and sales, but that game is awesome.

I also played Mass Effect and Tales of Vesperia this year which are both AMAZING!

I think Assassin's Creed II should win Game of the Year after all of the improvements and reinivations it made. Closest a game has ever come to perfection in my eyes.

I would say Modern Warfare 2 more.

I'm sure it will be MW2. Not only did it sell like crazy and it is an amazing game, but it is also offered on multiple platforms. As much good things as I've heard about Uncharted 2, I can't say first hand because I don't own a PS3. Basically anyone who doesn't own a PS3 isn't able to vote for Uncharted 2 because they've never played it.

by the way my pick is modern warfare 2!but is also playing ac2 and uc2 but the mp in mw2 is groundbreaking
