District 9 (Neil Blomkamp) got Oscar nominations for Best Picture and Best Screenplay Adaptation. These are 2 nominations that speak to how well a person can make a film, especially the Best Screenplay Adaptation nod. If only Neil Blomkamp and Peter Jackson had been allowed to make that Halo movie. Those folks at Microsoft who messed up that whole deal should be beaten unmercifully! You now have to wonder how well the Halo movie would have turned out. Microsoft, you suck!

If they would have made something similar to the Halo live-action stuff. With that insane budget also. It would have been awesome.

The trailer looked awesome. With the right director, it would have been really successful...

I don't really see how District 9 being successful correlates to a good Halo movie, this "dream team" of Jackson and Blomkamp could easily mess it up. Several years ago I thought that the man responsible for the LotR Trilogy was going to knock King Kong out of the park…………..and well.

personally I'm not bothered about there being a halo movie ... its an excellent game series and frankly I dont want to see it being mutilated by some dodgy film adaption

I don't think anyone would have to worry about a bad adaptation considering Neil was nominated for best screenplay adaptation.

I don't understand how District 9 is getting all these award nominations.. it was a terrible movie. The plot was awful, the aliens looked stupid, the ending wasn't done well.. if this Halo movie was to be anything like District 9, I wouldn't have liked it.

I think that the Halo movie could of been better that District 9 if it was given the right director and budget.

Yea, a Halo movie would have been sick with a good director, but it would have been interesting to see how they put all that together.

I chose the option "Of course" but i want it with a little less enthusiasm. Waaaay too many exclamation points.
