The jasper chip is so much more quiet

its amazing. i can't even hear it over the tv.

like i did with the my last 360.

plus it doesn't have to stay on cool down. after i have played for a while.

even the fan is even quieter.

My first 360 was a jasper, and i only notice any real system noise when it fires up. So it is a lot different compared to the launch console complaints i have heard.

I've always wanted to know how you find out which chip you have. Anybody know?

if you look on the back of your console and it says12.1 amps its a jasper. 14.1 amps is the falcon.

plus the noise level is extremely different.

I have a jasper but it's still really loud compared to the PS3gsgdvcbsa
