The MGS 4 Rumor

By now, i'm sure we've all already read todays Rumor Control article. for those who missed it, the URL is:

The speculation is on a cryptic new bulletin about metal gear solid posted on Konami's website that hints to a Metal Gear experience of some kind coming to 360. the 3 main theories are either a sequel to the metal gear acid series, metal gear solid on marketplace, or even Metal Gear Solid 4, which is what i'm really hoping for.

As a bigtime MGS fan and gamer, i'm ecstatic. Anyone else have any speculations, or thoughts?

I would love for mgs4 to come out for 360, though tbh i doubt it will :( Though i still would enjoy the original mgs to come out on marketplace. It jsut sucks that after playing and completing mgs 1,2 and 3 i havent had the chance to play and complete mgs4! so PLEASE come out on 360! dont wanna waste my money on a ps3 for one game!

I highly doubt that MGS 4 will be released on Xbox 360, but if it does, it'll be a multi-disc package.

No one seems to remember that Sony's Blu-ray discs are much bigger than the dual-layered DVDs that Microsoft uses for Xbox 360 games. A Blu-ray disc can hold 50 GB of data, while a dual-layered DVD can only hold 8 GB. During development of MGS 4, Hideo Kojima noted that he had to make cuts to the game just to fit it on a Blu-ray disc, so if it does come out on Xbox 360 prepare for a lot of disc swapping, cuz it'll probably be a 4-disc thing like Lost Odyssey.

Not to mention we can install games on the 360 now. If you do this you wouldn't need to swap discs during play, just when you install it to your HD.

I'm not saying I believe MGS 4 is in fact coming to the 360, but that is a bad case against it now. I hope it is coming for one.
