I just got home and have gone through a few rounds of PGR3, and let me tell you, this wheel is fantastic. Im pulling off turns i had a hard time with on the stantard controller.  Its like a whole new game. The sense of realism, the way the wheel tightens as you steer,  the force feed back, every little rivet in the road is felt.  I cant wait to play Forza 2 with this wheel.

I wanted to buy this wheel also, I'm glad you liked it.  But how is it on the lap?  Does it tighten or something?  Because I remember using the old Xbox racing wheel and everytime I turned, the thing almost kept falling off my lap.

yeah the wheel is really nice. do you use the driver's seat view on PGR3?? cuz unfortunately forza wont have that. you should try nfs carbon, it supports force feedback too.

Yeah, the wheel is great. Had mine for sometime now and looking forward to Forza and Dirt. Kind of pricey but really great.

I have not tried it in the lap yet. It locks down to my coffe table just fine though.

I found NFS Carbon unplayable with the standard controller. How well does it play with the wheel?

I love the drivers seat view...thats the only way to play this game. Are you sure about Forza 2?  Thats too bad if its true.

nfs carbon is really fun, especially drifting with the wheel. force feedback is needed for all racing games. yeah but nfs carbon doesnt have the driver's seat view but i just spent like half an hour adjusting to it.

I'm gonna get it real soon. I got my premium steering wheel for the PS2 on Craig's list, hoping someone will make a donation into my MS Wheel fund.

I bought it. It's the best wheel I've ever seen. Only problem is to get a place to play with it thats comfortable. found that having on my lap made it difficult to work the pedals. Wasn't second nature. Hopefully I'll resolve this when Forza2 hits.

I will be picking this up after I get my birthday money... I've been waiting but I've dropped around a grand on the xbox and games in the last month so I'm out of "disposable income" for video games currently...  I just wish they would come out with one for the xbox that uses a 6 speed shifter instead of the paddles.
