-Perfect DarK Zero on Dark Agent Difficulty
or -C and C 3 on Hard

Ninja Gaiden II. No contest.
Despite being hard, it's also one of the cheapest games in the last decade.
I guess nothing is really hard if you continue to play it. I'll say that All Pro Football 2k8 had the hardest learning curve for me.
COD 3 was hard, so was COD 4 and dark sector, moto gp is hard, so is that new one, umm.. = super bike something, i dunno.
halo was hard, so is tenchu, GOW would have been hard if i hadnt played it in co-op, army of 2 is jinda hard. rainbow six 1, is stupid, cos itz way 2 hard.
all games are 2 hard except that new viking game, i usually wouldnt like that sort of game so-much, but it was so easy that i am starting to like it.
p.s.
please note: i havnt completed any of these games except GOW2 and halo3. they were also all played on the easiest difficulty.
lol
Truly, the hardest game is Halo 3 with all skulls on Legendry. Only 2 people in the world have done it. Can't believe it's actually possible to do.
If that doesn't count, then Unreal Tournament IIIs campaign on Insane on your own. It's hard on normal near the end because your ally AI is so f**king retarded. Couldn't get past the first few levels on Insane.
Ive got you all beat:
IRON MAN on FORMIDABLE difficulty. I'm certain no one on here has played it as not only did the game suck but it was completely broken too.
Don't believe me? Waste your money, rent it, and see for yourself!
And yes, it was even harder than MILE HIGH CLUB on VETERAN.
I'll follow suit and give the COD series a mention for it's maddening Veteran difficulty. (Notably COD2's The Silo and 4's No Fighting in the War Room)
GH3's Expert is and probably will always be impossible for me despite my being with the series since day one.
Co-op in some of the more popular titles ease what would be limitless frustration (GOW, H3)
Lastly, Alone in the Dark, in its' obvious unfinished (yet still oddly satisfying) state, has already turned me a bit gray.
Ok easily Dead Rising.....have you ever tried reading the mission on a standard def. tv......THAT'S HARD!!!!
Even on my new 720p high def. it's still a pain in the gluttious to read the text.....aye.....
But seriously, for me so far, I would say that most of the games I've played so far have never been so hard that I would remember....maybe some missions in Portal....but thats more like a mind game than anything.....
Only two were the insane, controller-crushingly difficult that should not be in any game. Dead Rising and Ninja Gaiden II. The latter was almost impossible for me even on the easiest difficulty. But Ikarug, to me, is only frustrating in the "I wish I was better at this, I think I'll play more" way.
But, paradoxically, CoD4 on veteran was almost easy for me. Maybe I'm only terrible ar hack 'n slashers?
How do you only 2 people in the whole world beat Halo 3 with all the skulls on legendary? Where's the proof?Mcderby4
Bungie themselves said it in one of their news posts. Can't be bothered sifting through pages of writing to find it.
Nightmare Doom on the xbla ........ wow
to the people who are saying gears of war........really? You can run up and melle people over and over and you still wont die......its really easy.....even on insane.
and Cod 4 on veteran was cheap. infinite grenades and infinitie respawn ftl.
Edit:Dead Rising.......that game was brutal.
pdz on dark agent is is impossible even with co op
ninja gaiden 2 on master difficulty is impossible but warrior and mentor are quite doable.
and the only other game i can think of is UT3 on insane its freaky impossible to the computers kill you before you even even see them and the campiagn sometimes sets you up with unfair games like warfare and the other team has 2 extra players
NG2 and CoD2 veteran. I found CoD4 veteran to be quite easy. Also i 100% agree with the guy who said your AI in UT3 is dumb, it's plain stupid.iloverikku11
omg yes its crazy its so hard to win with them like in the level where you have to build the leviathan. the computer not only stole it from he then got stuck on a hill and he wouldnt get off then when he fianlly got free he drove it off a cliff to his death.
Call Of Duty 4 on Veteran is by far the hardest. I still haven't been able to do it. I just finished Act 1 on Veteran and that was hard as hell. They need to get Co Op for Call of Duty games. It would make Veteran a little bit easier.

Cod4 is not that hard on veteran...i was able to beat it on the ps3 and xbox360 without too much problem.

ahaha i know what you're talking about.
I got through the first few missions on normal and was like oh yeah this is alright, then got up to that flying fortress level....
oh dear god the soul crushing frustration... i can't even imagine how glitchy and broken it would be on formidable hahaha.
