The Netflix selection of movies on 360 is really awful and shallow.

Are they ever going to offer more movies to stream? I thougth at first they only offered a few, but would keep updating but it's been the same movies since the new update.

I think it's awesome. Not only have I been able to catch up on a lot of TV shows, (Hero's, Dead like me & Jericho) that I wouldn't have been able to have seen otherwise, it's the convenience that I really appreciate. For the price, you just can't go wrong.

I disagree, while it doesn't have the greatest selection I still have around 30 movies, tv shows, and anime in my queue. Plus online streaming is just an extra service they provide for their users.

It's just an additional service brought to you at no extra charge. Why complain about something that's free?

You're just hating. They have loads of movies and TV shows to the detriment of XBL's own online service.

This.

There are MANY great foreign/Independant films (and I mean great) that you probably haven't seen. I could recommend a few for you TC

I have 180 movies/tv shows on my instant queue and about 160 movies coming in the mail. I have to disagree with you on the selection of Netflix movies on stream. Full Metal Jacket, The Shawshank Redemption, Letters From Iwo Jima, Braveheart, Taxi Driver, Wall Street, Apocalypto, Die Hard, Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, the 5th element, The Good the bad and the ugly, clockwork orange, terminator, starship troopers, and the first 9 seasons of south park just to name a few....

All the good shows get canceled, Jericho, Firefly, Jeremiah, & Invasion are my favorite.

Gotta love the netflix though the selection on the xbox itself is pretty limited but anything you add to instant que online gets added to the xbox list. Can't beat that. Still there are some things i'd like to see on the instant play list so i don't have to put them on my recieving list.

Due to work I always miss Heroes due to work and thank God for Netflix on XBL. I get to watch it in near HD the very next morning.

I still prefer Blockbuster online. Rentals through the mail and 5 free store trade ins per month, good deal for me.

I do wish that the 360 side of netflix allowed you to do a search by name or genre more like the online version. Other than that it is a great setup

I had that plan a year ago and the two at a time Netflix plan plus free Xbox Live streaming blows away Blockbuster Online.

As note, I believe Netflix wasn't able to stream some programs to the Xbox do to licensing restrictions. Similar to why Hulu always tries block non-PCs from streaming it programing because content owners didn't allow Hulu to stream other devices besides PC. I am not sure if all of the licensing agreements have been worked out.
