4 gigs is more than enough for just game saves. You won't be able to play many (if any) downloadable games on the online marketplace.
They already said they'll be releasing hard drives for individual sale in the near future.

If you are using it for just game saves, then hell yeah.
The HDD is removable, but it's proprietary so if 4GB is not going to be enough for DLC or game storage either:
A) Wait to see if a mid-level is announced (console w/ a 120GB HDD)
B) Go ahead and get the 250GB if 4GB will not be enough space for your DLC and games.
or
C) Get the 4GB model and use flash drives to expand storage.

Yeah that won't happen. $300 has been the standard price for the "in-between" system for awhile, just like when they dropped the elite's price and stopped making Pro models. They're not going to release a $250 system for people that don't want to chip in more than $100 for an upgrade.

It isn't a 4GB hard drive. It's 4gb of internal flash memory. It's an arcade model. If you could buy an actual hard drive for the old arcade models then you should be able to buy one for the new ones in the future at a special MS inflated beyond reasonable price. If you couldn't then you won't.
To save money just buy a USB flash memory stick with 8-16GB for like $15 or something if you need extra space.
Well im gonna buy the 4GB model thats getting bundled with kinetic but i'd like to point out that im keeping my elite which i'll use for all my DLC, if i didnt have my elite, i wouldnt bother with the 4GB model
I imagine MS will eventually lower the price on all of them and change up the gb amount a few more times. But for the next year or so, the $300 250gb, is the best damn deal around. And congrats on kinect, I'm glad there are aleast a few people buying it.
