You may also need to try connecting to Live manually, as there are new Terms of Service agreements to agree to. Once you agree to everything and sign in to Live, all the other tabs come back.
It wiped my messages though strangely - Completely... I had some good stuff on there as well, including a picture of my friend asleep, and they dressed him like a certain dictator whilst he was asleep :D - its funny because he's a pretentious snob who wouldnt do anything... Anyway, back onto topic... It's doing a lot of strange things, and everyone is fixing their xboxs by turning it off and on again... Yet it didn't work for me :'(
