The next BIG game?

reading through again issue 41 of x-box magazine this morning and at the back there is two pages of the best games you can buy for x-box 360.

i have only become aware of all the sequels and so on that are on the console! most of them are great games, i am not disputing that but what i am asking is when is there going to be the next BIG game? you see the call of duty franchise, need for speed, command and conquer. like i said, great games but how about the next BIG game? is it already here?

which games that are in development now or games you can even imagine could be big? alan wake, for example, is looking good.

Halo 5

Games I think all see as being BIG releases are Mass Effect 2, Modern Warfare 2, Halo ODST, Alan Wake, Halo Reach, Bioshock 2, & Splinter Cell Conviction. Other games that are BIG to just me, Ghost Recon Project, Wolfenstein, Mafia II, Fallout New Vegas, Borderlands, Alpha Protocol, Brink, & Assassin's Creed 2, etc. etc., a lot of exicting games coming.

Other than Dragon Age Origins, which gets a lot of love from PC gamers, I've seen little to no hype for all those other games.

I reckon that Splinter Cell Conviction is looking pretty good aswell as Assassins Creed 2

most ofthose games above will, when released, create hugeinterest.

but what i was really getting at in the beginning of my thread was what do you think will be the next big thing? i mean, not a halo 5 or splinter cell: conviction but a game that is new and could be so popular it would warrant a sequel. who knows? it may even go further.

games like racepro, alan wake, red dead redemption... not a game that has been tried and true.

Resonance of Fate ,from Tri-Ace, looks amazing so far. Looks like it could be Mass Effect awesome considering that it has a shooter's mechanic in it ^_^Furanko_Kun

an nrl game for the x-box 360 would be so cool. i have mentioned this before. for those who don't know, nrl stands for national rugby league. the league has teams in australia and one team in new zealand.
