The next big RPG

Anyone have any clue as to which this may be? im looking for a new RPG to keep me satisfied until college (in september) Oblivion glitched on me so i cant continue that, i dont like fallout 3, its to slow paced, and fable 2 doesnt have much to do after you beat it besides becoming a real estate agent with a part time job. So could someone recommend an RPG that comes out before september or even one thats out already? thanks in advanced

i agree fable 2 didnt really wow me like 99% of the people on gamespot were. i would try mass effect or oblivion

ToV is good could last you months if you get all the secret stuff.

Best rpgs on the 360 imo = Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect, Last Remnant and Tales Of Vesperia (Eternal Sonata, Fallout3. Sacred2 and Star Ocean are also good).

Upcoming ones?? Divine Divinity2, Dragon Age and Mass Effect2

fallout 3 too slow paced... i normally get sick of slow paced games fast, but i maxed out fallout 3 achievement wise and loved every minute of it. anyway you should try out borderlands

I guess I'd go with Mass Effect.

You should give Fallout 3 a little bit more time though. It really isn't a slow game. The DLC might be a good way to go since it seems more action packed.

Sacred 2, look it up.

Borderlands is looking cool but it's more of an action/rpg. The rpg I most look forward to is Dragon Age.

The immediate next big rpgare Dragon Age & Alpha Protocol a few months away.

In the meantime you could play Fallout 3 (plenty of content), or Fable 2 (it has two new DLC that expand the game) for a lighter pick-and-play rpg.

I would vote for KOTOR3 (they have different name) from Bioware and Lucasart. But it is on PC only I think, arrggg.magicalclick

you can get Mass Effect for 15 bucks used at gamestop. That is a great way to spend 15 bucks.

I am enjoying the Star Ocean game now. I've thought about trying Last Remnant.. I have a demo just haven't gotten a chance to check it out yet.Aureliamoon

Risen and Dungeon Hero look pretty cool...I was hoping that The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf was still coming out.

Get Eternal Sonata over Star Ocean. Better story, better music, great battle system, and Japanese voice dub. nchan

I LOVED Eternal Sonata.........until you leveling up results in having ZERO time at all to decide your actions, Probly the dumbest design decision ive ever seen, I went from being super excited to finish the game to selling it and not batting an eye instantly

Buy Mass Effect, not that piece of crap Fable II. Mass Effect lasts longer, is better quality and will be much more enjoyable for an Oblivion fan such as yourself.

The next big RPG for me is Tales Of Vesperia.

Sorry, JRPG means a Japanese developed RPG and WRPG means a Western developed RPG.

If you want game already out, then check out Tales of Vesperia, Eternal Sonata, Lost Odyssey, and Fallout 3. All good games, with Tales of Vesperia being the best in my opinion.

I'm gonna agree with some previous posts and definetly recommend Lost Odyssey. It is one of my favorite RPG's. Mass Effect was an amazing game as well.
