Microsoft already stated that Avatars would not be included in any game pass the game rating of E. So no, unless its family friendly it won't happen.

If by E you mean "Everyone wants to Play it." But more seriously. Since people aren't willing to comment on how awesome it would be (even if it likely can't happen) I will pose another possibility.
What if instead of decapitation or dismemberment (in the typical sense) limbs were teleported to a basket which anyone could reclaim a limb from; however, the last limb in the basket replaces the last limb lost on the person grabbing one.... no blood of course.

This is still too violent to be rated E.
So instead of some 'sword'-like weapon, you tickle the other players to power your limb-trans-location-device with static electricity. That way the avatars are giggling when they lose a limb. Giggling makes everything more appropriate for youth.
You can stlll hurt avatar, like the brutal Avatar Drop, and less intensive snow ball fights. Anyway, I would like a FPS paintball game where the balls are shot as fast as real bullet. Haha. And customizable paint where I would most likly use Dark Red. Heheh.magicalclick
I really like this idea. And paintball isn't violent, right?
