im so damn sick of HDTV lag, even my dad's expensive $3000 TV has it. if i turn on gaming mode i can still feel the lag, especially in halo. when i use my computer monitor i feel NO lag at all. the next xbox needs a calibration setting in the system options like rock band/guitar hero so i dont have to waste my money on a seperate computer screen. i bet half you guys dont even know that youre playing in HDTV lag

NO t.vs need go back the way they was. One setting dose it all. Now days to get the right setting you have to go in and change every thing even if it has a game mode setting.

I don't have any lag when it comes to my TV. I have a 42" Sanyo and it's perfect. But I can't stand playing on really big TV's.

well its the tv that's the problem not the system really. That sort of thing would be tricky to implement in the OS of a console. Games like RB delay the timing of the notes to match your tvs delay but such a fix wouldn't be so easy for everything else especially when it comes to online.

my advice is get a tv that wont give you lag problems and more expensive does not = better for gaming. I really dont you will be seeing options like that in consoles anytime soon you dont even see that option on pcs.

Give us the model of the tv.

I've luckily never experienced any perceivable lag. My eyes are sensitive enough to see microstuttering in pretty much any dual gpu setup though.

I think its something else like $3000 tv equals big Tv whichyou sit far from. PC montior equalssmall screen you literally sit right in front of. Probably other factors if your using othet Tvs but TBHcompetent newertvs shouldn't have much preciveable input lag. LCD or Plasma. I personally think its you more then the Tv setups.
Not trying to be mean or anything just my opinion...

What you're referring to is "response time"... the TV's that you're using probably have slow response times and wasn't built for gaming. Most HDTV's now days have fast response times. I'd rather play on a monitor than a TV that takes even just a quarter-second to respond to your movements.
