Wow, that really sucks. I remember when Forza 2 came out i was so hyped to play it and i did. A couple days after playing i turn my 360 on and had the three red lights. I was so pissed off and to top it off it was when Microsoft extended the warranty to 3 years so there was a huge influx of people sending there consoles in. Took 6 weeks to finally get my replacement.

OMG...same dude...my friend borrowed my 360 to play forza 2 and it RROD'd at his house...we didnt' know what RROD was then, so he thought he broke it and he was gonna pay to fix it cause he felt bad...but seriously the NEXT day i get on GS and M$ just announced a 3 year warranty
he seriously cried in happiness, lol
That really sucks, hope it never happens to me, at least not now with all the outstanding games that're coming out in the next months!
it'd probably be cheaper to get an arcade version and just slap your HDD on that
pretty much because if it RROD's again that's another $100
so if you buy a new one you'll get a new 3 year warranty as well which IMO is worth another $100

I agree, i'd just chalk up the loss and get a new one. Brand new console and new warranty.
That sucks man. Why should you pay for microsofts mistake?. are you sure the extended three year warranty is up.
