The Orange Box is over rated.

Playing through Half Life 2 for the firsttime today wasnt as good a I imagined.

HL 2 was like GOTY or something I was told back a few years ago.

but playing through it today, the gameplay feels very dated for a FPS..

It doesnt stack up to the new standerds that have been set by FPS , COD 4, Bioshock, etc...

And the 5 games is the greatest ever value is a little dull too, HL 2 ep 1 and 2 are both really short,

and the other games have got nothing stacked up against the online play of Halo 3, COD 4, BF BC.

I would rate this game a 7/10.

I thought Orange Box was the best deal ever. It reminded me how good Half Life 2 actually is.

I had so much fun playing Portal.

Plus "you were told"? How could you not know about the game? That's like someone saying "yeah I heard about this metal guy in a game called Hello, Hallo, something"

HL2 is amazing. The puzzles, the physics everything.

Never put CoD4 in the same breathe, HL2 will always be solidified as one of the best games of all time...CoD4 wont. Nothing more than a multiplayer template, with a short predictable campaign.

You don't even give a mention to portal...You've made it clear that your rating, and opinion are a bordering on a joke. Having an opinion is fine, but at least make it an educated one.

Is this a joke? Of course old games will feel old! What did you think they felt like, something new like Cod4?

Starting to wonder myself. How can you play it for not even a day, and slap the entire package with a 7/10? Not a single mention to Portal. And I KNOW you didn't have time to get into the story. HL2 makes you geniunely care about the characters, and it will suck you in like only the best games can do.

The episodes are supposed to be short....

And i personally think the online is the same, if not better than halo

ya i basically bought the game for portal but its like i got another 4 games free and i loved it.

Does know one remember the Metal Gear Solid Essentials collection? Sonic Mega Collection? Megaman X collection? Megaman Annicersarry Collection? Street Fighter Anniversary collection?

Diasagree.A bit underrated. Barely anyone talks about it.

The worse thing would be probably, that the fact Gordon can't/doesn't speak. I wish I could play it again..
