OK for a while now alot of people have wanted a party system, and micrsoft has given it to us,

But ever since it has released, the waiting rooms for games such as cod, rainbow, halo and etc have been moderatly quiet.

Everyone is now in a party, even if its just 2 people they are in a party.

Imo its ruining team work and chatting with other on live. Before inthe lobbies everyone use to be talking and now theere alot of times where its just dead silence.

I prefer not to play in a party because it's nice to have some fun and civilized banter with the other team (CoD4 player here). However, the majority of the community is such scum that sometimes it's a necessity to party up.

This is very true. I know for a fact I'll get teamwork out of my friends, unlike 99% of all communities. Why let their singing/screaming interrupt our important callouts like enemy locations and weapons. You can't blame Parties for CoD and Halo, most people don't even wear their mics anymore. You can see if they are in a party and have a mic. Lately around 3 people per match of 8 in CoD have a mic.

Same. I used to plug in my headset and turn it off (that way i won't hear it... and if it isn't plugged in it will go through my tv) just so i wouldn't hear people. The only time i actually did talk to people was when it was my brother or someone that i personally knew. I could only stand a few games with the headset on. One being Halo 3 (lvl 48... like 0 kids that high up) and one of the worst was CoD4. No i'm not a fanboy, if you've seen my past posts you know that i bash ODST like the shamwow guy did to that hoo*** (probably get modded for that). I am super happy that they added the party system. Now it is like playing on the PC.... i don't have to hear anyone and it is glorious... maybe the PC has just spoiled me with that though (except counter-strike).

yeah most of the time no one really communicates on the game well. not unless your playing with a bunch of people you know. then you can do that in party chat. plus most of the time any type of talk in the lobby results in everyone screaming in the mics. just not worth it all the time.
