Well, I finally decided to start playing World of Warcraft so I put the WoW Battlechest on my Christmas list. The lady who helped my parents at Circuit City gave them the Warcraft 3 Battlechest instead, which I already own. Kinda sucked but that was the only disappointment. I just have to go exchange it tomorrow.opiatedbliss

Back on topic my Christmas was of epic fail but lets take it back about 3 months. So early October i found a 360 hidden in my house and since my bday is in October I thought it was a bday present. After I got nothing but clothes for my bday I was kinda pissed and accepted I'd have to wait til Christmas. So Christmas comes around and I got my 360 all's well now I set it up and put in COD4 about 15 seconds in it freezes. I turn it off and try again same thing... I put in Halo 3 try again and it freezes... So after 3 months of waiting i got a broken 360.

You're lucky it only got 6 months of your life.. It got my last two years until i quit in August, I'm installing it as we speak to make up for my 360 though.

my christmas kinda bombed, my grand dad died around the first of december so my dad left to be with his family in europe for the whole month including christmas. so basically my mom and i tried to make everything work but we failed hardcore.

its really weak that my grand dad died but on the plus side i get an ipod touch and a few games in about a week.

best wishes go out to anyone who lost a family member around christmas.

Sorry to hear that. A friend of mine watched her mom die in a snowplow accident just last week.

What sucks about that scenario is that since your parents waited 3 months to give you the 360, it's not covered under the retail stores return policy. Otherwise you could've taken back tomorrow when the store's open and exchange it. Hopefully they bought an extended warranty, if not, you're looking at a 2-6 week wait for MS to repair it. :?

I know how you feel. My mom passed away last September from cancer. I know that's a few months before Christmas but her death still had a big impact. She was the one who did all the family organizing, decorating,cookie making, and just about everything else that has to do with Christmas. Hasn't been the same without her, but I try to appreciate every moment I spend with my family nowadays.
