Who else thinks it's unfair that most Gears 2 fans shelled out their points for all the Map Packs that preceeded the All Fronts map pack bundle, its just not cool that Microsoft and Epic would pull a fast one like this. As for me, I bought the Combustible map pack the day before the All Fronts bundle was realeased... as an extremely frugal person, I'm basically sitting here slitting my wrists as I type.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe there was any warning that there would be a deal as fanstastic as this, and any chance of a fefund? Not in the slightest.

Refund, probably not to be honest. And yes most people knew a few weeks in advance that the All Fronts Collection would be quite the deal.

lol really? okay so in your logic, when a game first gets dropped, why buy it? why wouldnt I just wait a year to buy the game for less than half the price it originally was when it was released? lol the extra money that you paid for the maps were so you can play it for like 8 months more than the people that are buying them now

I agree 100%. And seriously, if you didn't know the All Fronts Map Pack came with the Combustible and Snowblind Map Packs, you must not have been paying much attention...

And if your gona say that you bought the combustible maps as soon as they came out... then thats your fault. I never bothered with those maps because epic games cheaped out on its fans when they released them, so they dont get my money. At the time the shotgun did not even work at all (and now it works sometimes lol) and instead of fixing it, epic games released a map pack, then fixed the shotgun like a few weeks later.... like what is that?

I don't normally get map packs, all I had were the Flashback maps that came with the game, then I heard about the All Fronts DLC, so i've been waiting for it for months, it came out and I must say i'm impressed.

This was announced a while ago, when MS and Epic announce the Dark Corners "expansion".

well ive known for quite a long time that all fronts was coming and its not a rip if you bought the other map packs because you already have them and have had them for awhile. All fronts is a deal from someone who dosent have any of them. Also it suks that you bought the combustible map pack but it wasnt like they just dropped this out of nowhere.

Another example of this is Fallout 3 and it's GOTY edition which everyone knows is coming right when the game is released (Oblivion also having a GOTY). There are always going to be rip-offs and there are always going to be people complaining. It's that simple. :D

ok well quick remedy to the problem. if you already purchased the previous maps then you can download dark corners which cost 1200 microsoft points. dark corners comes with the deleted scene and 7 new maps. if you didn't purchase the previous maps then you can purchase all fronts which cost 1600 microsoft points and comes with the deleted scene, the 7 new maps, and all the previous maps. so really i don't see the problem. they give you two options.

It is called "All Fronts" but I do agree with the TC, that it's a joke and really confusing to allot of people. Epic and Microsoft seems to always be skeeming and getting away with it. Can't hate them though because people keep buying their stuff. And yest I too got the "All Fronts" even though I already had all the other map packs..and it was only 400 more points..so I was like wtf, mine as well.

If a friend buys the All Fronts pack, will I be able to play with him on those maps, or will I have to buy it as well?

The exact same thing is essentially being done with Halo 3: ODST, Fallout 3, and quite a few other current/future games that I don't care to discuss. It's called business, TC.

At the time the shotgun did not even work at all (and now it works sometimes lol) and instead of fixing it, epic games released a map pack, then fixed the shotgun like a few weeks later.... like what is that?

"Hello, we are EPIC games, we won't acknoweldge that our game is fully of glitches and ballance issues, most of which were in the first game that should of been fixed in the sequel, or that matchmaking takes on average over 10 minutes to find a game, or even the fact that the game lags like crazy, instead we would like to announce a $10 map pack that you should buy so you can lag, glitch, and wait to play on more maps." (EPIC did not say this, I am poking fun at them)

The combustible map pack was a slap to many people's faces. :| EPIC even said the only people who are at a dissadvantage (aka screwed) to the DLC are the loyal fans that shelled out the money for the previous map packs. :|

I'm kind of angry myself. If I would've known this was going to be released before Snowblind and Combustible Map Packs where released then I would've never bought either of them.

This is how business works. When sales goes down, so do prices. Do you complain every time a game you bought gets a price drop? Be happy for the people who can now afford to get all the DLC.

And at least Epic lets you play all gametypes and playlists regardless of whether you have the DLC, unlike Bungie. Fallout is just doing a Collector's Ed. rerelease, no different than Oblivion GOTY edition.

Deals later arn't ripoffs. They are rewards to people patient enough to wait. Anyone that buys anything technology/software related should know prices drop a lot so if you are willing to wait the price will go down and sometimes it is very fast.
