The "Pick Your Online Shooter" Poll

To settle all this debate and arguing, why don't we have a poll?

Just pick your favorite FPS online, and if you'd like, explain why you like it.

Yea...and you also forgot UT3. I play Gears, BF:BC, and UT3. But I don't find any of the shooters really spectacular, ever since my CoD4 addiction ended, I just hate shooters.

I really like COD4. I like the speed and the pacing. I was playing Halo a while ago and was real blown away by how much slower it seemed. Plus I like the weapon balance better.

I only played GeoW a few times and it was ok. Battlefield just seems really unbalanced to me. Never played Vegas.

Battlefield Bad Company. It's the only one I have, and Conquest is fun, especially when (if I ever) mow down 3 or 4 guys at once while defending a flag.

Yeah I played BF: BC all day today, it's a well made, fun, and tactical shooter.

Surprisingly, I find more mature gamers on the T-rated BF: BC, and less mature, more pre-teens on the M-rated CoD4. What has gone wrong with parenting?!?!?!?

Easy way to make their child shut up. Sad thing that parents are too lazy. My father and me play games constantly always have. Parents really should actually care about their child and not use the xbox 360 as their babysitter.

Heck, I didn't even want Battlefield, my dad bought it for himself. My dad actually has his own 360 and gamertag, but since he isn't close to the router he has to use a 500 ft. ethernet cord that he got from his work and wire it through some of our walls to get on live. He usually plays Madden now, but he likes the usual FPS.

My father plays everything. He bought me a psp and plays it constantly. I've barely touched the thing. My dad's an old school gamer that designed his own computer and played Wolfenstein,doom,Duke Nukem,and etc for like 10 years lol. I wish i had his patience i used to be able to play one game for weeks non-stop, Guess i'm just spoiled by all of the cheap great games. Hopefully though i'll get my patience back for the rpgs coming out.

Yeah, I love those moments. I prefer Gold Rush though. Most of conquest is camp a flag with recon/assault if you control over half. But I like Battlefield none the less.

I don't get how people can just camp. I never camp nor run and gun. I use actual logic and use cover. I remember on one level i sat in a bush beside a gold crate and literally killed like 8 people in a minute. I was using a shotgun just sitting there mowing them down beside a wall. Also no i wasn't waiting there for an hour i was ducking because i got shot by a sniper and was waiting for a medic.

BF:BC is by far one of my favorite games but it gets rather annoying being put on the bad team over and over. Only reason i don't play it that much.
