the standard headset is awful sounding. Is the wireless headset any better?

I can barely make out what anyone is saying with the standard headset. It sounds so terrible and barely works. Is the wireless headset any better?

i like the wireless headset better then wired. they are louder more comfortable and dont disconnect when your controller does....and the mute switch isnt swaying in the middle of the cord.

Yea you guys should definitely check out Turtle Beach headsets. I went through 6 Xbox communicators last year! They keep breaking! So basically I spent about $150 on the stupid communicators. Screw that!

Now I have a Turtle Beach "X1" headset which I got for $50 at Best Buy. I bought it in January with a Best Buy gift certificate that I got for Xmas. Now it's 8 MONTHS LATER and the Turtle Beach headset is still in perfect condition. To basically this year I spent the money on a QUALITY headset and have ended up saving money.

Oh and, best part about Turtle Beaches is that the sound goes through the headset speakers--so I just mute my TV altogether! Now my mom doesn't whine and complain about the game sound being loud when I turn it up.
