The stupidest thing I've done (which I do every now in then, sadly) is turn off my 360 or go to the dashboard and forget to save my game.
Also, one time I was trying really hard to get an Achievement for Geometry Wars, and this one guy kept signing on and off and it kept popping up to tell me that, so I deleted him off of my friends list. I never got the achievement by the way.
Knowing the batteries are low in my Xbox wireless controller, and still continued to play. In game on Gears, batteries die and I see two chainsaw hungry people dashing towards me.

I was sitting on the floor playing DiRT and I was just getting ready to beat the career mode and my foot hit the open tray button and my game turned off. I then broke my controller.

I did the same thing just not at my testicles! I was playing Rainbow and got upset about a kill (on me) and stood up and slammed the controller on the floor... I thought it was ok but then realized now the LB and RB don;t work unless you press on them ridiculously hard and now my headset doesn't work with that controller either! Luckily I have another one so now my broken one just stays plugged in with the Plug and Play Kit and charges the extra battery when one is low. That's his new full-time job, no more playing games for him... :lol: But it was my fault... :twisted:

No it doesn't. I have only had my 360 vertical, and it has never scratched any games, etc.
now this may not seem like a stupid idea but i just sit there going ya, ok, right, hold on. its worst when im asked to do something and totally blow it off cause all i got is master chief in my head
I turned on my 360 and saw the flashing red lights and was about to freak out when i realised i hadn't connected all the cables to the TV. :oops: I was so relieved
nothing really, i guess i am a very patient, meticoulos gamer well this one time i had just got smoked in saints row, went to load, but i saved instead

So I restarted the xbox. And the xbox froze again.(It didn't froze my controller disconnected so there was no response that is why I thought it froze). So I called MS. They sent me a UPS sticker. A few days later I was trying to revive my xbox. Failed, I looked down because i was a bit angry. Then I saw no green light on my controller. I was like: what the ****............?!
Tried to play Rise of a Ninja multiplayer while taking a dump w/the door open. Working for a little while till I met somone who totally raped me and in my anger I threw down my controller....into the freakin toilet. Well, in the end I got my controller back...and it still works =D. Not very well though....won't go into the details. Good thing I have like 5 other ones.

only thing ive done is take pee breaks while playing halo 3 kind of weird some times when im there making noises while peeing and people ask me wtf im doing i just laugh
yelling at the game while playing madden. I got sacked and kept yelling "I threw it", knowing that if you throw it at the same time you're about to get tackled, they take the hit over the throw. Damn madden tech.

I was about to load my Marvel Ultimate Alliance saved game (I have beaten the game on normal and want to try it on hard) but when I tried to load, it says the saved game is damaged...I thought it was a loose memory card or a error, restarted my console. To no luck. So I went and deleted it.
The next day I signed in to Xbox Live, and played Marvel again to start over, then the dash board came up saying there is an update for this game so I updated it and lord behold the Hard mode is now unlocked and all my character's stats are unchanged, it's like I never deleted my saved game! Same happen to me in Gears only this time there was no patch, no miracle...
brought my 360 i had just bought a week ago to my friends house and had to take it to his tv room but wanted to be on xbl so i strung the ethernet cable across the floor into his closet where the router was and started playing oblivion i had only played like 20 or 30 hours so i was just getting into it then i had to crap so i walked towards his bathroom ad the ethernet cable was in the way so i tripped over it and nocked over the 360 and it completely raped my oblivion disc... :(
i waited 6 months to buy it again because i was so pissed

Keeping it horizonal is just better for ventillation and sometimes the disc can scratch if vertical because the disc is on a slight angle
the christmas i got it i set it up i put the game in the tray wen i closed the tray the game wasnt going in with the tray it would just slide off when it was closing i was freaking out i thought something waswrong with the 360 ends up i had it laying down the wrong way
I just got Forza two and put it in my 360 (which i have vertical). I have all my games stacked next to my 360 and when i went to grab the case, i bumped my 360 and it tipped over. Then i had a nice scratch ring around my disc and it was unplayable! I had to go find a game crazy to buff it out.
I was smoking a bluntwith some friends while playing halo 3 online. When it got passed to beI couldnt decide whether to stop playing, because you can pause online, or skip the blunt.So, i decided to hold it in my mouth while playinggames which end with all thesmoke blowing in my eye.Sonow I'm playing with one eye open. i drop the blunt on my carpet. It burned it a little so there goes my security deposit.
Was drinking some beers while playing GeOW with the wired headset. I had to pee so I just muted my mic and took it with me to the bathroom. There I am doin my buisness with my controller sitting on the back of the toilet when all of the sudden it vibrates like hell and falls into the toilet... Guess I got chainsawed while I was away...
last december when Gears of War was the best game on the 360 i was at my cousin's house had my 360 on the floor vertical then turn it horizontal and obviously the noise and then i got a scratched Gears disc. :?
I went to level 1 to 4 in Dead Rising and had one health bar. I forgot to save and ran into a horde of tight-knit zombies. You know what happened next.
Playing the 360. Girlfriend came home, gave me a kiss...I stumbled backwards, fell back over the table and on top of the 360, breaking the glass table and very very nearly stabbed myself through the chest, thankfully I was fine, the 360 was broke, so... took it into the store, explained that it had the 3 red lights, they replaced it that day.
