The truth on sports games agree or disagree........?

The truth is when you pick up a sports game from year to year there wont be much to change unless its an arcade style of play. Madden hasn't done much year to year and that sucks but to be honest what can they do more from year to your. Its a sports game that is ment to give you the real experience of the field in your living room. They can't have you pick up new armor that the other team drops when you beat them or find a hidden stage on the other side of a goal post. Lets be real how much can you really do. Football is football, basketball is basketball, If you like nascar then get ready for what you see on tv. Thats it my friends at least i think so. This is what you get updated rosters and any changes that was made by that sport like name change or new uniforms etc. Other then that its all gemics lets be honest the spotlight players on the field arnt much different then 4 years ago they are better players then the others by stats and you can tell when you play with them so now it just points it out. So if you love a sport and want to play the game be happy with whats there cause when you watch the game sunday i promise you the players will look the same no new graphics and they don't have any new power ups just people lol.

Yes once in ten years otherwise its always same crap every year. I usually buy one sport game in 4 years and play it for long time. Unless game has been really changed i would get one earlier.

For the past couple of years EA's NHL series has been changing bit by bit. The inclusion of Be A Pro(which has been seen before Madden), but also bringing that online is going to be amazing(I think).

Do u actually play sports games? Some actually change drastically from year to year when they need to an almost always quality sports games manage to improve over their tried and true gameplay. Oh and this isnt just in sports games. Most sequels dont change from game to game (ninja gaiden, gears, halo, guitar hero). Thats called a sequel...JaviBonilla23

i hear that lots about sports games i used to agree with that way of thinking. i love madden and bought madden 05-08

if you think there is not much of a change play the latest year of any sports game then paly the year before you should notice drastic changes. the change is not as noticblegoing forward with the titles but thats a good thing you want the game to feel the same thats why you went out and bought the newest year.

I can't go back to playing NHL 07 after playing NHL 08
