The ultimate achivement problem

After playing gears of war for months on end, i finally got 10,000 kills. No achievement though. I cant believe it.

I have 525 in Execution, and 9487 in Warzone = 10,012

But no achievement. What's going on? :cry:

wow, congratulations. I only have 4000(yet I quit playing like 3 months ago).

Play one more game, thats what normally fixes it for me.

Are you waiting for the achievement alert to appear or did you actually check your achievements list? Maybe your status was 'Busy'?...

the kills you get in execution never work! every achivement i got has only worked off of warzone so it looks like your gonna have to keep killin locuusts

Personally I almost completely disregard Xbox 360 achievements. Its a thoroughly flawed system of gauging a gamer's dedication towards their Xbox 360. From games that are an easy and effortless 1000 like Fuzion Frenzy 2 and EA Fight Night Round 3 to achievements that don't even make you play anything to the eight new achievements for GOW that let you do it offline its just way too fragmented.NicAgent

same thing happened to my friend he didnt get seriously till 17,000 kills

Try to check the xbox 360 forums on xbox.com I remember someone had this problem and they had to clear out there cashe on the the 360 or something but I can't remember exactly how. A lot of people have this problem. It might ne that it didn't just register yet of you just got it, but I got that achievement when I was supposed to playing only execution matches.

You can glitch it!? I DEMAND TO KNOW HOW. I've had enough of this nonsense. :P
