I got a 360 back in 2005, and PDZ was great back then, because it was one of the more-populated games, but no one plays it anymore online, so it you're looking for multi-player, you're gonna have a tough time. The single-player is short, but fun.
Call of Duty 3 still has alot of people playing it, and while the Single-Player is short, it is kinda satisfying. Multiplayer is the cream of the crop though.
Are you kidding me?
A LOT of people still play PDZ online, and PDZ online is simply amazing. I was never into COD, but that's just me.

Were you playing Darkops? I can easily get into a 16+ player (no bots) match of infection, sometimes even 20 - 25 for a few hours.--Wolf--
I remember Infection, that was so much fun...
